Inchy's Back In His Buffalo Backyard!

Hello and welcome back to our blog here at Global Vending Group! Talking about all these schools across the country getting brand-new Inchy the Bookworm book vending machines is rewarding and something we love to see. Today, we wanted to take some time to talk about a school right in our backyard at the Dr. Lydia T. Wright School of Excellence.

An Elementary School in Buffalo is adding its own original book vending machine. You know what that means - Inchy’s homebound to Buffalo!

The book vending machine already proudly displays the fingerprints of eager kids pressed up against the glass, trying to figure out which books they’d like. And the best part is that the machine doesn’t accept cash from the kids, only special Inchy Tokens!

Kids can earn these special tokens by displaying their school’s character traits, which include citizenship, responsibility, and fairness. Students who displayed these traits the most are nominated at the end of the month to earn a token for their new addition to their personal library!

Inchy and PBIS

If that sounds similar to the PBIS rewards programs we’ve been talking about over the past year and change, that’s because it is similar! PBIS, or Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, is a program deployed at thousands of schools across 44 states that encourages kids to follow good behavior and achieve academic success.

The Inchy Success Story

Inchy and his original book vending machine have been installed at around 4,000 locations throughout the country. Track his progress around the country by following our blog and keeping up to date with our social media!
