Here at Global Vending Group, we've been able to help thousands of schools all over the country by bringing Inchy the Bookworm Vending Machine to their community. If you haven't heard about the Book Vending Machine, check out our Social Media on Facebook to see some of the best stories all over the United States!

Today on the blog we wanted to highlight a special "Inchy Story."

This Inchy Story comes out of Montana.

“I love books and I want everyone to read books and I want everyone to have books,”

Audrey Kimmel, a 9th grader began a project in 8th grade in her English class. She created a cookbook of family recipes from people in the Galletin Gateway. She was able to generate funds from her efforts, and in an incredible showing of gratitude and appreciation for her elementary school, donated $500 to bring an Inchy the Bookworm Vending Machine to their school.

Bringing the Community Together

This is one of many examples of how the book vending machine has proven to be a vehicle for positive reinforcement of community values. From the beginning of the Inchy dream, we began with a few ribbon cuttings. The first machine happened here in our hometown of Buffalo NY. It's truly moving to see how this concept has taken off, not only by helping to get books in the hands of our kids, but how it brings people together for the kids.

Teaching Good Habits

At Galletin Gateway School, K-8 students must read a certain amount of books to recieve their custom INCHY token to earn a take-home book from the machine. The machine is always exciting for the younger students, but it helps demonstrate that positive habits can earn rewards. We have also seen schools use the machine as a PBIS reward system. The machine is a vehicle, but it leaves creative opportunity for you to install your own system for passing out the custom tokens.

Amazing Work Ms. Kimmel
